Sometimes, there is one single incident that brings you to therapy. Other times, there’s a “pile” (or mountain) of issues that have accumulated over time, and you’re hoping to untangle it all and find relief.

Whatever the reason that brings you to therapy, we will create an in-depth treatment plan for YOU that is flexible and adaptable as you grow and change.

Our Approach to Therapy

From the getgo, we seek a deeper understanding of your presenting problem and build curiosity to how the mind and body are communicating.

You may already know that your thoughts are defeating, judging, critical, or angry and that your body may constantly feel tense, numb, anxious, or detached. If you are not aware of these things, we will help you get to know yourself better than ever.

The healing process can begin when you recognize and appreciate how, when, and why you “trigger”. We will tackle all those thoughts you have to help you gain control. We’ll provide the appropriate amount of psychoeducation (I promise this can be exciting – not boring!) on how the brain and body interact.

Knowledge is power, and the more you know about yourself, the more opportunities you will have to change what you want.

We will provide you with the tools you need to gain awareness and increase mindfulness. If you’re new to this, we can help you to simplify it. This process will change as you change!

We do not believe that you need to be in therapy forever, which is why we offer solution-focused treatment modalities, and Uniquely tailored treatment plans to get you to where you need to be so that way you can get back to life.

You will find our sessions to be efficient, effective, inspiring, and motivating. We examine and process the past, paying particular attention to crises, losses, traumas and anything else that you were affected by.

The present is cared for by exploring stressors and triggers and providing you with various resources and coping skills to give you something to connect to.

We address the future by setting your intentions and moving you in a direction that feels safe and in alignment with your values.

We will meet you and accept you where you are, and help guide you towards your goals with gentle and compassionate challenges.
